Ranti is a self-taught knitwear designer and fibre artist with a background in architecture. With a focus on shape, texture, and craftsmanship, her work aims to demonstrate and amplify all the possibilities of hand-knitting. Driven by an interest in local materials and ordinary techniques, each piece reflects a commitment to quality and playful design.
After graduating from the Royal College of Art with a master’s degree in Architecture, Ranti continued to experiment with incorporating textiles with structure, creating unique wearable art pieces in the process.
Ranti also creates hand-knitting patterns as well as physical garments to make her work more accessible, as the making process is just as meaningful as the final result.
