Women’s Suffrage Brooch

Gift a piece of British History This women's suffrage brooch carries the colours of Emmeline Pankhurst's Women's Social and Political Union suffrage organisation. The colours have significance with purple standing for dignity, white for purity and green for hope. The imagery on this suffragette brooch is inspired by the scrolls which the acts of Parliament are written on. Each brooch is individually hand made using resist printed and dyed aluminium and riveted to a white aluminium background. Each brooch is unique due to its hand-made nature and is made using traditional riveting methods and modern dying techniques.
