Giuseppe Savoca is a contemporary fashion designer and craftsman. After he obtained a Master's Degree with honours in Craftsmanship in wood and leather, Giuseppe was inclined to fuse his acquired skills with fashion. He accomplished a Master's Degree in Fashion Design from Istituto Marangoni, having previously completed an undergraduate degree in Costume History and Fashion Design.
His mission with SAVOCA is to have a dialogue between craftsmanship and the street by bringing wearable art into daily life. In his work Giuseppe explores techniques used by different artisans such as tailors, milliners, embroiders and fashion are blended to create unique designs - reviving the elegance of period design, with a modern touch.
