Event description

We are Lewisham and Cockpit invite you to a craft workshop as part of the Borough of Culture’s creative challenges.

In December, the Craft creative challenge will culminate in a piece of crafted public artwork which the Lewisham community will have created collaboratively.

Our challenge to you is to learn a new craft skill, socialise and work together.

Join us on the 29th November at Corbett Library where you will learn how to yarn wrap with Ashley Jess Knight.

  • The workshop is free.
  • The workshop starts at 4.00pm and runs until 5.15pm, the library closes at 5.30pm.
  • This workshop is open to all ages.
  • All children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • We will be asking you to create one yarn wrap for yourself and one of our Borough of Culture project.
  • The theme of the workshop is the local environment and your Lewisham.
