Ashley is a Weaver , Upcycler and Textile designer who joined Cockpit after winning the Clothworkers award in 2021.
She has recently launched her new outerwear Brand ‘Ashley Jess Knight’ which focuses on handweaving upcycled Jackets using discarded materials, specializing in weaving with discarded wedding dresses & event wear, keeping the memories and fabric from landfill alongside deadstock materials.
Ashley Also educates on sustainability within the fashion industry and runs upcycling workshops, both independently and for organisations.
Ashley also offers handmade woven products, collaborations alongside a freelance commission based service for clients looking for custom luxury hand crafted textiles for either fashion or interiors which are handwoven in her London studio.
