Event description

Clay in Conversation 8: Conflict is the eighth in a series of curated conversations, presenting artists working with clay and ceramics. Curated by artist Julia Ellen Lancaster in partnership with the Ceramics Research Centre-UK (CREAM), University of Westminster, this series of conversations provides a platform for presentation, dialogue, and discovery, bringing together a diverse range of artists with a practice using clay and ceramics.

For the eighth episode of the conversation, Cockpit maker Tessa Eastman will join this conversation with artist Barbara Beyer, with Tessa Peters as chair. Tessa Eastman is an award-winning artist with over twenty years of experience working with clay and glaze. Her dynamic sculpture offers creativity, technique, and a bold approach to the art form, placing her at the forefront of the contemporary ceramic art scene.

The presentations are followed by a Q&A session with the audience and a chance to meet other artists working, researching, and curating with clay. All are welcome. Bookings close at 5 PM on Wednesday, 26 June. The ticket cost is £3.00.
