Handwoven Helix Scarf – Orchard Flowers Topaz

The helix scarf is one of Charlotte Grierson’s collection of handwoven scarves. Helix because of the twisting, spiralling pattern created by the weave structures. There are other colour variation to be found in the Helix Scarf collection on her website. This scarf is woven in silk, merino and linen. Linen brings a crisp lightness to the scarf while the merino makes it beautifully soft. This warp was inspired by the spring colours of Gustav Klimt’s paintings of orchards and landscapes. Other versions of the colours can be found on her website. Charlotte’s collections of handwoven scarves are all one-offs. There is a plain boarder of silk at each end of the scarf and the tassels are hand twisted. Care Instructions: Hand wash gently, in warm water with wool wash. Dry flat and reshape whilest damp. Iron on a silk or steam setting. Do not machine wash. Scarf Details: • Contents: 58% Silk, 25% Merino and 17% Linen. • Dimensions: 35 x 185cm plus tassels.
