Handwoven Silk and Merino Scarf

This medium width scarf is woven by hand in silk and fine merino wool in my studio at Cockpit Arts in London. The colours in this scarf are rusty red and maroon with stripes of yellow, sandgold and green ochre in the warp and woven with navy colour in the main weft and a boarder of ochre in the pattern and a stripe of Sienna.The lengthways stripes are darker and more vibrant on one side of the scarf and softer and muted on the other. Other colours versions are of this scarf are available on my website, along with other narrow and wide handwoven scarves. Care Instructions: Hand wash gently, in warm water with wool wash. Dry flat and reshape whilst damp. Iron on a silk or steam setting. Scarf Details: • Contents: 63% Silk, 37% Merino. • Dimensions: 40 x 190cm plus tassels.
