Weekly Weaving Class
Length: 3 terms per year, 10 weeks per term
Times: 10 am-12.30 pm
Fees: £250 payable by invoice
Charlotte Grierson teaches a weekly weaving class in London on a Tuesday. The class is held at Cockpit Deptford. Charlotte supports all levels of ability so you are just as welcome as a beginner, as those with more experience.
You will be allocated an 8 shaft table loom to work on for the term. If you wish to bring your own loom do email to discuss this.
The class is limited to 8 students so that Charlotte can provide support to all whilst maintaining a group who can learn and inspire each other with each project they weave. Being part of a regular group of weavers also is a great way to make like-minded friends and share ideas.
This class is project led so here are some of the things you might want to weave.

What can I expect as a new beginner? If you are a new beginner you will start with a sampler and with my support and direction you will learn to make a warp and put it on the loom. You will then weave the various basic structures, gaining confidence in choosing weft colours. This process will take about a term. In your second term we will use the sampler to help you decide on your next project.
Cockpit Deptford is only 10 minutes by train from London Bridge.
Spring Cafe is based at Cockpit in Deptford and will be open.
