An introduction to rush and rush basketry with Ella Merriman in her studio in Bloomsbury. You will discuss the material, experiment with different weaving techniques, and make a placemat or coaster to take home.
This is the perfect workshop to experience the art of basket weaving and begin to understand the potential of rush as a material. There are only 4 places per workshop, to ensure focus on each person in the group, help everyone and answer any questions. Suitable for all abilities.
