On 10 October 2025, Cockpit CEO Jonathan Burton and Cockpit Maker Alice Burnhope will take part in the Echoes of Migration Summit at London’s Royal Society of Arts (RSA).
This one-day event brings together artists, curators, and cultural leaders to explore migration, identity and creativity. Jonathan Burton joins the panel The Role of Cultural Institutions in Supporting Migrant Artists, discussing how digital platforms foster artistic exchange and belonging. Alice Burnhope will unveil a new mobile installation co-created with the Lewisham community, and speak on Celebrating Cultural Diversity in Contemporary Art.
The summit marks the launch of Art Voyage Biennial CIC’s international programme and celebrates the power of art to amplify migrant voices and drive cultural change.
