Join Caitlin Maxwell Hughan’s natural dye bandana workshop in London for a relaxed, creative two-hour session. You’ll design and dye your own bandana using organic cotton or European linen. This workshop is perfect for anyone looking for a festive, hands-on creative experience.
First, choose your bandana or scarf shape. Then, explore a curated palette of botanical colours and learn a variety of natural dyeing techniques, including shibori tying, over-dyeing, and printing with plant pigments. Experiment freely and watch the colours unfold as you create a unique accessory to take home.
This workshop is designed to be social and inspiring. Work alongside friends or meet new people. Share ideas and see each other’s designs develop. Overall, it’s a fun way to relax, unwind, and reconnect with your creativity during the festive season.
While you work, sip on a glass of Crémant or a non-alcoholic botanical spritz. All materials are included, and no prior experience is required. At the end, leave with a handmade bandana or scarf — ready to wear or gift.
When: Tuesday 9th December, 6–8pm
Where: Cockpit Deptford, London
Cost: £55 per person — includes all materials and a glass of fizz
