New and improved magnetic wallpaper from Sian Zeng

Cockpit’s own award-winning wallpaper designer recently launched a new magnetic wallpaper collection. Building on the success of her original designs, the new single-layer version of Sian’s wallpaper is more lightweight and easier to install, making it simpler than ever to transform any space into a canvas for creativity.

Sian’s new collection is available in eight different designs, each offered in multiple colorways. Pop by her studio during Winter Open Studios in Deptford, where visitors will be able to write messages on magnetic speech bubbles and test out the new wallpaper.

A collection 875,000 years in the making from Eleanor Lakelin

Following a year of experimentation with exceptionally fragile 875,000-year-old wood, Eleanor Lakelin has completed two extraordinary new works for the Extinction Collection, a remarkable collection of work highlighting climate change.

For this exhibition, Explorers Against Extinction invited a group of artists to create work featuring fossils, artefacts and materials from the beach at Happisburgh, Norfolk — the site of the earliest known human occupation in the UK.

See the exhibition at Dundas Street Gallery in Edinburgh until 19 October and at OXO Gallery in London from 31 October to 17 November.
