Learn to Weave Workshop

Learn to Weave on 8 Shafts is a 2 day in depth workshop for complete beginners who wish to get started in weaving. It is also suitable for those who wish to refresh the knowledge. You will weave samples on a set of pre-warped looms in different materials, selecting weft yarns and colours. You will experiment with the basic structures of weaving. During the two days you will learn to make a warp and dress a loom with the help of your experienced tutor. Charlotte brings over 20 years of weaving wisdom and 15 years of teaching beginners. You will take home a detailed handbook of the process for reference together with the samples you have woven. Learn to Weave Workshop details: The workshop starts at 10am each day and finishes at 4pm. All materials will be provided and tea and coffee will also be available.
