Event description

We are Lewisham and Cockpit invite you to a craft workshop as part of the Borough of Culture’s creative challenges.

In the New Year at Forest Hill Library, the Craft creative challenge will culminate in a piece of crafted public artwork which the Lewisham community will have created collaboratively.

Our challenge to you is to learn a new craft skill, socialise and work together.

Join us on the 19th December at Crofton Park Library where you will learn how to make Hmong hats with Chery Nguyen.

A Hmong hat making workshop with Vietnamese artist Chery Nguyen. Come join us in a crafty session of making, decorating and getting to know a bit more about this wonderfully charismatic ethnic group.
