Award-winning artist-maker Richard McVetis is delighted to be showing at Collect 2025 with Cavaliero Finn, presenting a new series of intricately crafted forms and wall pieces. In addition to exhibiting, Richard will be taking part in a talk at on 1st March alongside fellow artists and curators.
The Loewe Foundation Craft Prize talk will delve into the heritage lessons and the use of everyday materials in contemporary craft. It will explore how to modernise traditional techniques from past makers and transform everyday materials into emotionally resonant craft. The discussion will emphasise the importance of both precision and imperfection in the creation of contemporary craft.
