Kathy brings over 15 years of experience spanning the private and not-for-profit sectors, with deep expertise in craft, design, and multi-channel retail. Before joining Cockpit, she served as Product Director at The New Craftsmen (now Craftmaker), where she led a portfolio of over 300 British makers working across a wide range of craft disciplines. Her work focused on developing distinctive products that celebrate craftsmanship and storytelling.
Known for her ability to build strong partnerships and foster collaboration, Kathy is a natural communicator whose empathetic coaching style helps creatives, teams, and individuals thrive. In addition to one-to-one coaching at Cockpit, she also designs and develops exclusive collections in collaboration with brands and makers — revitalising traditional techniques to create contemporary pieces rich in cultural meaning and rooted in place.
