Kimberley Cookey-Gam is a British-Nigerian artist specializing in textiles.
Her creative practice is a culmination of healing through craft, entwined with nature, organic forms, spirituality, and her Igbo heritage. Crochet serves as her medium to cultivate moments of connection through this communal form creativity. She is currently nurturing a creative platform called crochetcookey, aimed at creating tender connections between garments, art, and people. A space that aims to find equilibrium between individual creativity and the longing for connection, achieved through care and collaboration.
