Jane Adam has been making jewellery for over forty years. Her work can be seen in major galleries, exhibitions, and public collections. Her early work was in anodised aluminium. Her original techniques have influenced a generation of makers. She also works with precious metals, pushing them so that form and texture evolve as she works.
Jane was born in London and studied at Manchester Polytechnic and the Royal College of Art. She has lectured in Taiwan, Portugal, India, China, the USA and throughout the UK, and served as a trustee of the Association for Contemporary Jewellery, the Crafts Council, and Cockpit.
