Erica is a knitwear designer from Ireland, deeply inspired by her heritage and her country’s rich connection to wool and knitwear. Her work draws on Irish mythology and storytelling, exploring traditions in Ireland through craftsmanship and textiles. Her work reimagines traditional knitwear in a unique and standout way. Erica works with a range of mediums to achieve this, using mainly deadstock and second-hand yarn as well as any materials that inspire her, helping her to create one-of-a-kind pieces that can never be replicated.
Just like the seanchaithe (storytellers) of Ireland, she uses her craft to weave magical and detailed stories linked to her life and heritage.
