Welcome to Meet the Maker, a new video series where we take you behind the scenes with talented Cockpit makers in their studios.
Today we’re taking you behind-the-scenes with Jasmine Bradbury, a sculptor and artist whose work delves into the unconscious mind, exploring how internalised experiences shape personal expression.
Jasmine developed her expertise in bronze casting and mould-making while working in foundries across London, Norfolk, and Suffolk. She joined Cockpit on the 2024 Arts Society Bursary, where she runs her own mould-making and casting business from her studio in Deptford, enabling her to collaborate with established sculptors while continuing to evolve her own artistic practice.
In this video, we take you behind the scenes with Jasmine in her studio and during a bronze pour at Open Studios, learning about the materials, themes, and other artists who inspire her work.
