Two contemporary landscape artists, Jo Watters-Pawlowski and Nina Archer, have come together to form the WAC Collective. They invite guest artists to be part of each exhibition, typically 3D makers and sculptors. Cockpit maker Jacky Oliver is a guest artist for The Space Between, also exhibiting alongside wood carver Peter Archer.
The two WAC Collective artists live in different areas of the country, interpreting the diverse landscapes they inhabit. While each artist’s work is distinct in its process, colour and texture, it is their shared observation of landscapes and use of mixed media that makes this a unique collaboration.
For The Space Between Jacky has created a series of pieces that respond in subject matter or colour to the work of Jo Watters-Pawlowski and Nina Archer.
