Janice Hosegood

Janice leads our communications and manages open studios events. She has over 25 years’ experience representing craftspeople and curating exhibitions.

Janice previously worked as Manager of Electrum Gallery. She continues to run her own craft consultancy practice, established in 2007.

Janice co-authored Barbara Cartlidge and Electrum Gallery – A Passion for Jewellery, published in 2016.

Annie Warburton

Annie joined Cockpit as Chief Executive in 2018. Previously Creative Director at the Crafts Council, she has 20 years’ experience as a cultural leader and social entrepreneur.

Maxine Clark

Maxine coordinates Cockpit’s awards, careers and young people’s programmes. She holds an MA in contemporary craft and is a Weston Jerwood Creative Fellow.

Head of Business Incubation

David Crump

David leads our team of business coaches and trainers. He designs our in-house programme of business support and one-to-one coaching and leads Cockpit’s international consultancy service.

Business Incubation Programme Manager

Madeleine Furness

A trained coach, Madeleine plans and delivers our business development programmes and provides one-to-one coaching for studio holders. She returns from maternity leave in April 2022.
