Colour Weaving Workshop

Charlotte Grierson is running a colour weaving workshop in Deptford. In this workshop you will learn the terminology of colour theory, and how colours interact with each other, building your confidence with using and choosing colours. If you want to learn, or brush up on your colour theory and then learn how to put this into practice this workshop could be for you. During the day you will weave samples on looms ready set up with a range of different warps. You will have a variety of yarns to choose for wefts seeing the different effect that you can achieve. Learning in a small group of students we will analyse samples to see why some colours seem to disappear in a warp while others stand out. You will take home handouts, your own notes and paperwork together with the samples you have woven. This 1 day colour weaving workshop will run on two dates: 27 May 2023 and 10 June 2023. Times: 10am-4.00pm
