Cockpit bridges the gap between talent and opportunity, by providing affordable studio space and in-house business support to talented makers. We are an award-winning social enterprise, home to 160 independent creative businesses in London. We hold Open Studios twice a year in June and November, which are an opportunity to see behind the scenes and meet some of the UK’s most celebrated craftspeople. We welcome applications from talented makers looking to take their craft practice to the next level, and have a limited number of funded places available each year that you can apply for.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to join our team, as we deliver an ambitious strategy to grow and diversify our audiences. With a community of over 160 makers, the success of our marketing efforts relies on excellent organisation and clear, effective communication. Cockpit’s new Marketing Coordinator will work closely with our Head of Marketing & Digital across all Cockpit channels, providing essential day-to-day support across a variety of marketing activities. This  is an opportunity to learn and develop skills in creative storytelling, and impactful digital campaigns.

We are looking for a freelance photographer to document our Open Studios event from 22—24 June at Cockpit Bloomsbury. In line with Cockpit’s mission, we would like to commission a photographer early in their career (eg. a photography student, or someone who has graduated in the last 5 years).  You will be fully credited on all images, as well as mentions on social media and the Cockpit website.
